Intercultural communication is an important part of a person’s intercultural competence, or the ability to function effectively across cultures. We encourage interaction with Mexican students as part of our program; this competence enables the individual to interact with people of other cultures and remain aware of cultural differences. Field trips are one of the best tools that we can use to provide every student with real-world experiences, each experience that a student participates in contributes to their understandingof theworld .Weofferexcursionsand field trips to places of historical and cultural interest including thegreat PyramidsofTeotihuacán,TheAmazing Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera Museum, the largest and most visited museum in Mexico, National Museum of Anthropology, Puebla and the city of the angels & Taxco, known as the“World Silver Capital”among others.
